Established in 1918, Gargash Group is one of the UAE’s leading business enterprises.
Today, the group comprises a family of internationally renowned brands operating across four verticals: automotive, real estate, financial services and F&B. Global expertise and deep local-market understanding enable the group to deliver integrated, innovative and competitive services.
The group introduced leading automotive brands including Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo and GAC MOTOR to the UAE, alongside SIXT Rent a Car, Leasing and Limousine. Since 1998, Daman Investments has provided advisory, asset management, brokerage and wealth management services. Gargash Real Estate develops and manages high-quality residential, commercial and industrial properties, while the group’s restaurant and hotel brands serve some of Dubai’s most popular destinations.

Samir Gargash
After officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Mr. Samir Gargash returned to the family business. He led Gargash Motors and General Trading, securing new UAE distributorships, before becoming Group Chairman. Under his leadership, Gargash Group has followed a customer-centric philosophy and pursued its objectives ethically.

Shehab Gargash
Mr. Shehab Gargash is Managing Director and Group CEO, and Founder and Chairman of Daman Investments. Before Daman, he built a 12-year banking career with Citibank and Emirates Bank International. He serves on regional boards and holds an MBA and BBA from George Washington University.
